I started painting serendipitously, just two years ago. I lucked into a coveted spot with a private local multi-media artist and surprised everyone - no one more than me.

I had never painted. My handwriting was always abysmal. This class was more than fortuitous for me. My canvas, usually a heavy bodied acrylic, allows me to play. I migrate to vibrant colors, peace, and above all creating ...Happiness.

I paint what I feel, perhaps also what I wish.  A quiet pasture. A bubbling creek. Crashing waves. The sound of snow falling. The size and color of my creations fit my mood, sometimes small, sometimes larger. I need to work on larger to be honest.

Each piece is unique; Is part of my soul and journey, and will find its place.

Sometimes you really cannot predict the Universe. I am listening, and I hope to create heirlooms. Art that is moving for everyone; that conveys my gratitude for all of the things that truly matter.

I also hope to keep things “reasonable” ... affordable - because shouldn’t everyone be able to say they own a piece of original art!?

PS - My happiness is genuine. I have the most amazing husband (of nearly 30 years!), we have four boys, and we love our fur family, too. :)
